    Please le us see your razor after you put it back together!
    Use some chrome polish on it & also put a little light oil on it to preserve it.

    Yes it lined up perfectly. And I make the pivot pin little bit stiff, I don't like loose blades.

    Today I shaved with Taylor and it was very close and smooth. I'm very glad to restored this old razor.
    The quarter hollow/near wedge gives very different feedback. Almost a silent killer while cutting the whiskers.

    The Taylor is a great razor.I'm glad you got your hands on one. They really shave better than you first thought. Great score!!!!!!

    Thanks @engine46 it's a quarter hollow and it delivers really different shaves but in a very good way.
