Thanked: 3228The last bit of progress before finishing work on the blade and pinning that into the scales. With luck tomorrow will have it shave ready. Tang cover epoxied in place and retaining pin back in.

Glad it went on the right way this time Bob. Good luck on the razor. It will still make a good user grade razor even with a few cracks. Nothing wrong with that IMO.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 3228Finally got her all knitted together and honed. The level of workmanship was the quick and dirty kind so no work of art by a talented restorer. There was one problem honing and that was the a section of edge that was very chippy. I think they blew the heat treating there. Looks to be all but cleared up now.
