We'll see what happens. I have a new and better blade I bought as soon as got the saw but never planned on putting it on till trashing the current blade. The RR track probably will accomplish that. Cutting from the underside sounds like a good idea. If I can cut one, then I'll cut two and TC you can have one.

I don't see the need, and I'll be surprised how far you get with a HF saw blade. Mine was cut on a industrial sized saw. One hour per cut, roughly.
I figure that I'll see how the ball bearing 'bounce' test goes and then make a decision.

Hey! Life is way too short not to play along the way.

TC, how long of a piece of RR track do you need? I believe I can help you out.

I figure since the likelihood of my being able to cut it is low, I might as well be generous!

I was worried about the freshly exposed steel and all the time invested in this project.
An old sock and some Ballistol to the rescue.

Just got my piece of rr track today.
11" long, 5" high. The ad said 26 pounds?? Seems heavier??
It was around $38.00 with free shipping.
My mail girl hates me now.

Super clean piece with beautiful cuts.
This thing is a beast. No way am I going to mess with it.

Thank you again to Roy (Cudarunner) for the link.

Most would have charged $35 just for shipping.
Nice, it looks sand blasted and rust free.

Mine landed two days after ordering, yea I don't think my mail man was pleased.

Seems that Ebay sellers have access to more of the Priority Packaging than 'we' do.

I've got mine cleaned up 99% but I ran out of the El Cheapo Harbor Freight Belts and I've blown my allowance for the month so I'll be posting pictures later.

By the way, my please to be of some 'HELP'---------------------

Good thing the Postal Service has those boxes :
    "If it fits, it ships"...

They "pushed the envelope" on that one..
