It was rolled in bubble wrap, and boxed in a flat rate Priority. His photos show the box too, and it looks undamaged.

I've had similar experiences in the past from selling less expensive items online, like CDs w/ cases and cellphones. I shipped everything in the same condition listed, but people complained that their case was cracked or item was damaged. I figured it was due to the USPS delivery problems, despite the fact that I wrapped the items in bubble wrap and wrote "fragile" on some items. I always honored returns for a refund, but no one ever returned an item to me.

    Some tips:
    * As mentioned in the above posts, get pics and as much info from the buyer as possible up front.
    * Honor your return policy; I'm sure you stand behind your 100% feedback.
    * I'd wait until you received the item and had a good chance to review it before issuing a refund.
    * If in the end you feel that the buyer is abusing the system, then report the buyer to eBay.

This was a pain to get from the ebay in messages to here, but I found it. Tell me what you guys think, and what you feel my next move should be. I'm at a loss here.

I had a razor break at the pivot while I was shaving. I had tightened the pivot a few days earlier. It can happen especially with vintage scales.

Refund the guy when the razor arrives safely back to you & rescale it.

I was not aware that "Not Satisfied" could be interpreted as "I dropped it off a 5th floor balcony and was not satisfied that it did not survive the fall"

Your refund offer does not offer you any option but to refund on return of the goods. Your buyer is not satisfied and the reason why is irrelevant in this case. The buyer has you cold and ebay will
not support any claim you may wish to make.
Change your refund guarantee or remove it entirely.

If he is scamming, he won't want to return the razor and pay the return postage just to get back the same money he paid. Tell him to return for a full refund, as you said you would do when you listed the auction. Put some new scales on it and list it again.
