With that crack, the widest point on the blade would be the tang.

Dang, it's already sold. You could grind out that crack and have one heck of a 2/8!

Well obviously not grind the blade horizontally, more like completely removing the crack somewhat like the razor pictured below.

Interesting thought Martin! I might have to try that on a cracked razor I have sitting in my shop...

My friend, does yours have a crack like this one also?

When I saved it to my desktop so I could put the circle in, instead of having numbers or such it was titled 'Butchered' guess the seller knows that it is indeed 'butchered'.
