Here's one that has a crack near the heel. I wrote the seller last night telling them I think the blade is cracked but no reply so they are going to just ignore it so far. You can see it going the same direction on each side. It starts at the edge & appears to be pointing towards the stabilizer.

This popped up this morning. My heart nearly stopped beating. I've been dreaming of the day I see another large george brittain, and today was that day. Until I made it to the 4th picture that is...

Yeah, I saw that last night or should I say early this morning but was too tired to post it but I have a doozy here:

    Boker`s Red Injun No.102
This one came to me from a bad home, it seems they sharpened just the middle of this razor and you would have to be a cucumber to get a decent shave but I straightened out the blade the best I could, Honed it to a 15,000 grit stone and finished it off with a stropping with 200,000 diamond grit spray, the scales are made from Black Walnut, the wedge is Pink Ivory, the pins, washers and collars are stainless steel and yes it is shave ready or you could keep it around for show as there is still plenty of good years left in this Razor for a great shave. This Razor does not come with a box, Sorry!!!.

Oh lord - that is a heart breaker...a massive GB with the Maltese Cross and the Anchor...a rare gem, and then shattered on the 4th pic.

That's a tough one to see....

Yup. And by the pictures the deepest part of the chips was 8/8, so it's probably 10/8+

I was actually looking at the listing to see if it was worth considering breadknifing it down to good steel, but you just don't know how deep those cracks may go, and in the end how much blade will be left.

The stamps on it are very nice, nice and crisp, thankfully, I have a nice 9/8 GB, but that one is still tempting....take a better eye and some good skills to make a go of it. Shame, such an uber rare piece.

Yea that crossed my mind for a second or two. I think if you bread knife a wedge that far it would have to be reground. Too many variables for me to risk a Benjamin.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. The geometry would be off. You never know these days, it may go for more than just a Benjamin.
