Only thing now is to let him know how it is being shipped. Provide him and eBay with the tracking info and wait.
Is it over there or over yonder?

The scales are not worth $60. You can find them cheaper.
This morning he sent me a message blasting me on this return. Nice message to wake up. He's not going down with out a fight it seems. I took pics and even told him in earlier messages it now has a chip in it. What would happened if I was to go to hone it and the blade just chips up all the heck?
This is his meassge to me:
I am VERY UPSET at this point. After you refused a fair settlement I went ahead and accepted the return with the ebay email sent to me. It brought up the pictures of the blade on the razor. The first time I had seen them.
You show a blade that I DID NOT SENT YOU and it shows a BIG CHIP
out of the blade. If you look at my ORIGINAL SELLING ON EBAY PHOTOS it shows the blade I SOLD WAS NOT CHIPPED.
It could NOT have been done in shipping and I would ASSUME you were trying to check if it was cracked and you did something to the blade that
made it "pop" .... I DID NOT SEND YOU A BLADE WITH AN "ATTACHED"
CHIP.... so ..... what is the next step?
i AM VERY UPSET with what has happened and you are NOT being
FAIR OR TRUTHFUL. I will contact my eBay rep on monday.
Please explain this......Last edited by Willisf; 11-22-2015 at 06:02 PM.

This is why I'm telling you not to do the return outside of eBay. Let them mediate and handle the return arrangements.

Yep, as I am doing it through eBay.
All messages and so forth is being done through eBay.
No way I'd use an outside source to handle this.
Guess I should call eBay tonight and speak to a rep.
I don't think this guy can issue a return shipping label since he is in the US and I am in Canada.
I could be wrong. Is it over there or over yonder?

Here is the selllers latest message to me:
"Willis,
I am not sure what you are TRYING to pull.... but here are the FACTS:
1.) I shipped a perfectly fine Razor that is HIGHLY COLLECTED as proof of the many PAGE VIEWS and also the many
bids on eBAY; I had many email of how wonderful it is ...was. AT the TIME OF SHIPPING as PROOF OF MY EBAY
ORIGINAL PHOTOS ... THERE WERE NO CRACKS or CHIPS.... ESPECIALLY ONE THAT IS AS LARGE AND EVEN
BROKEN AWAY FROM THE BLADE.... OBVIOUSLY NOT HOW I SENT or PICTURED IT. First of all I would NEVER
have sold or listed ANYTHING with a broken out chip!
2.) You emailed me, asking if there were any CRACKS in the blade. The lines you see in a couple of my pictures are exactly
what I stated in my photography of the bay window in the background. You stated it had a large HAIRLINE CRACK ... which now
you say was --- 1/8" ----- (in your most recent email to me) --- to me 1/8" is NOT A HAIRLINE ...... Having said that, NOW YOU
WANT ME TO TAKE BACK WHAT WAS A PERFECTLY FINE ANTIQUE COLLECTIBLE RAZOR that is NOW PROFUSELY
DAMAGED and NOT AT MY HAND.
3.) I am a perfect packer and I remember being very careful with your Razor so that it would not get damaged in shipping.
So I REPEAT this razor was NOT DAMAGED IN SHIPPING as you show in one of your pictures to eBay. It is apparent to me
that while you were "tinkering" with the blade edge, you POPPED the chip.... that is just what happened. To support your
claim of "USING or NOT USING" this razor, it was sold as an ANTIQUE OVER 100 YEARS OLD RAZOR and what your intentions
or use is or was, can NOT be controlled by me. I stand by my ORIGINAL LISTING and at this point I am not taking back the
razor under your terms.
4.) I have a long history with ebay and always stand by listings and certainly can not know everything about every field, but
do that best that I can. In this case, it is obvious that the damage was caused by you and now you want me to absorb the total
cost, which is NOT FAIR and certainly can not be legal. "Is it over there or over yonder?
