    Default eBay return?

I just got a Boker 1056 in the mail today. The blade had some cracks in it and it is chipped. The seller wants me to send it back to them. Ummmm....how does this work? Shouldn't I be going through PAYPAL or eBay and make arrangements through those sites instead of just sending it back to the seller? I'd like a refund on the purchase.

How have yall done this in the past?

You have to open complain through eBay resolution center and submit them your correspondence with the seller.
    They will guide you.
Unfortunately I don't remember exact details of that process, but it pretty straight forward.

Yep. You can also attach your correspondence with the seller that was prior your purchase. I understand from your another post, that he confirmed that the blade without cracks.
However, it's not bad idea to submit photos as an evidence of cracked blade.
Don't worry, ebay use to protect their buyers.

Go thru eBay. If it was listed as perfect tell them it was not as described. They will guide you through the process.

You might ask the seller to cover the return shipping. I don't think you should have to pay for his mistake. Also, make sure you get tracking on it. In a case with ebay or paypal tracking is essential on returns.

    Common!!!
    It's just business!!!
You have a right to come with an offer to the seller. Lets say 50% refund and keep the blade with you.

I would use Canada Post with a tracking number. I don't mind covering the cost of the return.

Ummmm...... the blade is useless now.
