When I first read this I was a little worried about Ken and what exactly he was going to check out after reading the immediately preciding messages but once I'd read further I saw it was only a 4 sided strop. Phew!

OK... I just ordered 3 Wapienica's. I can hardly wait to receive them. Now I just have to save up for a Tony Miller strop and a Norton 4k/8k hone. Then I'll just have to learn how to use everything.
Now this is an adventure...

Keep in mind that the wapis don't come shave ready. Wouldn't want you to get a bad taste in your mouth trying to shave with one... Originally Posted by GoTeeGuy

Goteeguy, Jonedangerousli is absolutely right. Although the razors do not take much work to hone they do not come shave ready out of the box. If you want I will hone one or all three of your razors free of charge to get you started as long as you pay shipping both ways. Then you will only need a strop to maintain the edges for a while and a 4 sided pasted strop to do touch ups. If you are interested send me a pm. I will highly recommend you to do that, heavyduty has a great knowledge honing, he has changed the way i see a bevel, he personally tought me how to hone and now i can achieve better shaves than ever.
It will help you because you could use as reference and know how sharp your blades should get.
