"Whose motorcycle?"
"It's a chopper, baby"
"Whose chopper is it?"
"It's Zed's"
"Who is Zed?"
"Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead."

Ahhhh! Now that you mention it... I do recall something along that line in the movie.
Thanks! Now I can rest.

Newbie with Lots of Questions
I'm looking to start down the road to str8's by using a Dovo Shavette (from grunion). However, I can not believe the price of these Wapienica razors, as well as the rave reviews they are receiving. I am soooooooooo tempted to purchase a few, so that I have them for later. Does that sound obsurd to anyone??? How many str8's does one need to start?
Also, as I will be trying to outfit my rig on the cheap, how do the seller's water stones compare. I've been pricing the Norton 4k/8k stones, but these ones are much less expensive. Do they work well on the Wapienica's???
While were on it... what about the strop that's listed for sale? Speaking of strops... do they need pastes or are they usable right "out of the box"?
I want good, quality gear... not crap that I will need to upgrade from in a few months/years.
Sorry for all the questions, but it's hard to justify this kind of purchase to SWMBO the first time around. I'd hate to have to try justifying upgrading in the near future.
Thanks,

That's not absurd at all.

That's how I started. I had a straight that I'd bought at an estate sale years ago. I had Lynn hone it so I had a benchmark.

Hehehe, I knew I liked you. That's one of my favorite movies
What's more chickensh** than f****** with a man's automobile? I mean, don't f*** with another man's vehicle.
You don't do it.
It's just against the rules.
One of my favorite lines in the whole movie.
Hey GoTee, definitely go with one of Tony's strops. Don't worry about stones until you're really crazy about it, and that strop will get you and your razor really far!

Thanks for the prompt reply, Jonedangerousli. I'll definitely check out the 4-sided pasted strops from Tony. Look's like I'm goin' shoppin'!!!! RAD is back...
