Thanked: 1Anyone on the fence, don't hesitate to buy one of these.
You may suspect you're a wanted man in Poland, the deal is that good.
They hone easy, they shave fantastically.

Wow, I ordered (3) of these, since the shipping was as much as a single razor. All I can say is, wow, what a deal. Very nice looking razors with very nice steel, and a cool plastic embossed case to boot! I'm putting one into my daily rotation and saving the others for a rainy day (I need to say something to myself to rationalize my severe RAD). - John

Thanked: 1The post office left a note on my door that this razor is available for me to pick up at the post office. I got this note last night when I came home from school.
The post office doesn't open until 8:30am WHEN I HAVE TO BE AT WORK!! Now, I've got to wait.
It's gonna be a looooonnnnnggggg day
I must say that shipping was super quick. Many thanks for that!!
I'll make another post after I've shaved with it.

Thanked: 1The razor is now in my possession. This is a beautiful razor, clean and simple. I actually enjoy the heavier weight too.
I'm going to test shave with it in the morning and determine what honing needs to be done.
Thanks, wojtec76 for offering these.

Thanked: 0My two arrived today.
Well, yesterday, but the post office left a note on my door too!
What's the deal with that anyhow - my mailbox is MORE than big enough to have held the envelope, plus when I picked them up this morning they made me print and sign my name in their electronic doohickey, as well as print my address.
Since the word "oil" is too short to search on here, anyone got some tips for removing the light coating of oil that these things come with?

Try warm water and a cloth first. If that does not work then MAAS polish will definately take it off and leave that baby shining.

I'm still waiting on mine. I'm kinda glad that the postman leaves a note when I'm not home. I've got a small maildrop and if he leaves it on the porch, a passer-by might help himself to it. Then I'll have no Polish razor and some well-shaved neighbors. Heh! I keep saying that this will be the last one then I went and ordered two more other razors off of ebay. I find that Break Freegun oil is a good all around cleaner for any dirty razors that I buy. I leave a thin coat of it on overnight and any gunk comes right off. It's good for cleaning off the packing grease that most guns come covered with.

Arghh. I'm trying to nip this budding RAS, but the combination of quality, military-utilitarian esthetic, not-made-anymore-ness, and finally CHEAPNESS was too much!
I just bought two.

You answered your own question. You weren't there to sign your name. He sends the razors with signature required so he can have proof of delivery. It's a smart business move.
You can use either dish soap or shaving soap and warm water if you have too, to remove the oil. Or maas and a cloth. I'd be ready to put mineral oil on after you're done sharpening them so they stay nice and clean. The Scales are carbon steel also and just as subject to care needs as the blade.
Hope this helps
