    I may well be joining you in buying some more once my first order (one of each of his strops, hones and razors) arrives. Hopefully, it won't be long now.

    So that's why a lot of Polish people have moved over here? They can't get a shave at home and are looking for all their razors!

    ....Well thats another theory -
    I thought they had simply come over to remind us that theres still some real tradesmen left in this world who are proud of there work & there razors LOL
    ( I served my apprenticeship with the gentleman who taught my father - Old school stuff !!! it's good too see quality workmanship once again )

    {oh no I'm on my "when I was a boy !!! " soapbox again }

    Here here I'll second that
    with 400 thousand having moved to Ireland in the last couple of years, thats almost 10% of our population. I think I can say with authority that its great to see some enthusiasm in the work place again.

    There seems to be two schools of thought on Poles in the UK and Ireland. One is hugely critical of them stealing their jobs (They probably were on the dole anyway) and the other that welcome the hard working good natured people. I am in the second group, I think we English need a kick in the backside to get us to do the work that we seem to think we are entitled to avoid!
    Sorry, was that off topic? Haha
    On the note of traditional tradesmen, I do think there are more in Poland, they seem to have more shops like the old cobblers and garage, and less of the multi chain big bucks stores. I have yet to find any bargains to beat wojtec76 ebay shop though.

    It looks like there are more traditional tradesmen in ex-Communist countries than here in the West, which is kind of ironic if you think about it.
    As for Poland, it improved significantly over the last couple of decades, according to my stepfather who grew up in a town that's almost next door to Wapienica and his family was in the steel biz. It's not on my A-list of countries to visit, but I wouldn't mind swinging by.
