This is just a thought, but since these kits are for the rank newby (such as myself) I think most of us who are drooling over the prospect of purchasing one of these kits to jump start our new adventure in personal hygiene would not mind paying a little more if Lynn's DVD were included. Then we would have what all of you seem to agree is the penultimate learning tool along with all the other tools that we would be getting... just a thought and certainly not a criticism of what is already a stunning deal and a neat concept.

Thanked: 44I am trying to get Lynn to put his dvd in the deal but we will see. He has deals with Jim at vintage blades and Classic shaving that he has to think about but since Lynn has been on board with this from inception I would like to have those included. The other thing is I am trying to keep the price down and the brush is more than what I was expecting. These will make the deluxe kits in the future I am sure since I am just getting what I paid for my razors out of this now.

When they go up for sale tonight, will it be by PM first, post first, or what?

Thanked: 44Etiquet is post pm sent and then send a pm
That way people know you pm'd and there is no argument over who is first
That pretty much goes for B/S/T as a whole

Since Lynn has agreements with the other vendors, perhaps you can offer it as an option for the retail cost of $19.99. People get the convenience to have it in their kit and you don't make any profit on it, it's like ordering it directly from Lynn. I don't remember whether you'll be sending the kits after you come back from Ohio, and taking orders before that, but you see what I mean.... I guess it's really up to Lynn,
And I don't know about the etiquette of posting pm before sending it - many a missed deals that way. The rule is the first pm sent gets it, not the first post....

Way to go Chris! This is a great opportunity for any guy to get into this hobby (necessity!) of ours! This is really a great thing you are doing.

I am not making profit on anything but my razor. I offer everything else at my cost with shipping. I am thinking of making it an option and that way if Lynn doesn't go for it then I only have to worry about the people who chose it. I am going to try to ship them before Ohio since they only need fine tuning. I have finished with my back log and will be sending everything out that I am behind on Monday (thank god! That got a way from me a bit.) and shave testing these during the week. I will also take a few razors with me to Ohio.
I like when people post pm sent on the page so I don't get a dozen pms that I have to say sorry too. If someone sends me a pm first I won't say sorry you can't have it but at least post in the thread in short order. I check both time stamps if it is close to see who posted first. I have had 1 for a gold edge like that.
