OK so Lynn still needs to get back to me but Colleen has said she can get her part out on tuesday or thursday next week. That means that if I am going to Ohio they won't get to me until the following week. SO I am going to dig into MY soap stash and pull out some 1 oz pucks of Colleens best and put them in for the first 4. They will be in the scents Sandlewood, Lavender, Bay Rum, and Desert Ironwood. Those are my favorites. I will offer the kits on wednesday or thursday evening depending on when everything arrives. It will be between 7 and 9 pm eastern time. Final price depends on whether Lynn's DVD is included. I will also begin taking orders for deluxe kits at that time since due to the higher expense I won't do those without an order.

Oh and that is that strop that you insert the razor and pull the strop around the razor. Not sure how i like it. I am much faster with out it but it is neat.

    Default IT IS ALL HERE!!!

Guess What? It is all here. I will be able to list it EARLY!

    Who would have thunk it?

My camera is charging but I will take pics as soon as it has enough power

So the question is... Saturday evening or sunday evening? who knows cause I will let it loose as soon as the razors are honed.

Then would you guys rather fight over them as I finish them up from here on out or would you rather order them and wait while I finish razors as fast as I can to keep up with demand? I can do 10 or so a week right now and maintain quality.

Also if we do orders I will give the option of deluxe or regular and the things that come with it.

Orders sound like a good way to go. I'd like to see what a "deluxe" kit would offer over a standard kit.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

OK so to answer the first question and then picture time. Well these things are a work in progress. So far my plan will be to offer 5-10 regular kits per week and then to take orders for an upgraded kit with razors that would otherwise go to the email list... say ones with NOS sheffield or special scales and etch or something like that. I also want to see if Tony can send the artisan strop with the D rings and if Jim can send the 944 brush or equivalent Rooney brush but that is going to take some time to figure out. I will leave you to choose your own soaps from Colleen and Sue since my taste does not mirror most in the soap department. I am also looking into a shave scuttle to go with it but that is not available at the moment. The razors will be selected based on shaving ability as much as appearance and will have some choice but what is available is what is available. An example would include the MINT Bengal in the first kit.

Now for the rest I have pictures of the stuff to post. The first two razors are done and I am going to have the second two done tonight or tommorrow morning so if all goes well they will list tommorrow night.

    I can't believe I am early!

This is the first kit and has the Heavy Black Latigo Strop marked "SRP 1", The Mama Bear Shave Stick in lavender and pepermint, a Mama Bear Mandarin Ice After Shave Balm, a The Gentlemen's Quarter Desert Ironwood Shave Soap, the Vintage Blades custom Shavemac 944 in Pure Badger, and my Mint Bengal that measure just over 6/8"
