If your Badger brush is sheading, I'll send him a Boar and a Badger Brush, some other soaps, cologne samples and the assortment of double-edge Razor Blades - if wanted.
All I need is a PM with an address and I'll ship these items out. BTW, I think I read that someone is sending the gentleman a Strop, but if that is not so, I have a new Strop I was going to use as a practice Strop (but have not since I haven't found the straight I want yet), I would be happy to throw into the pile as well. The Strop is new, unused and has already been conditioned.

Again, what can I say for the generosity. I am amazed at the influence your generosity has had, another member joined because of it, my wife and I are overwhelmed with both emotion and gratitude, and you have made our Christmas. Seriously, I know I am writing words of gratitude but I really am speechless I really don't know what else to say. The last few months have been a whirlwind of emotion and thought. 3 days before I found out I am getting laid off we found out we have our 2 child coming, perfect timing of course, a co-worker who has worked at the company for 12 years got laid off the day before Thanksgiving, and of course tons of family stuff. I say all this to say that your generosity really means a lot to this one man. I can honestly say that your generosity has begun a process of reshaping my view of life and how I can help others. When I first posted my confession I was just rambling about disposable shaving and an off the cuff comment about getting laid off and never could have imagined the response that everyone has provided. You truly have blessed, changed, and made both our Christmas and our lives. Again thank you from the bottom of mine and my wife's heart.

That would be fine with me, but if it would be easier for nun2sharp to have me to ship the brushes and misc. items directly myself (from Northern California to Southern California), no problem. I'll plan to ship them directly to JT myself - unless I hear differently from nun2sharp first.

Ok Guys, if you PM Fletcherfam and he gives you his address, go ahead and send it direct, I can not take liberties in passing out his information. If you wish to send it to me and I forward it that is fine too. PM me with your intentions so I am not waiting on things that are not coming.
As for honing the razor, Ive got that covered.

I will ship the brushes and a few other goodies directly to Fletcherfam since we are in the same State.
After I ship the package to Fletcherfam on Monday or Tuesday, I will send a PM to nun2sharp listing the items I shipped to Fletcherfam, so nun2sharp will have a complete list of all of the items sent. If that does not work, just let me know. Otherwise I will proceed with sending the package directly.

Guys,
Not been on here that long and not knowing anything about the people here or this site before I found it. I must say that I am amazed by the generosity shown by the members.
It just proves that there are still some very good people left in the world. I'm just sorry that I have nothing to add to the pot.
Fletcherfam, sorry to hear the bad news. Hope 2010 starts much better than 2009 ends.
Congrats on the impending arrival to the family.
