Thread: How Many Razors Do Newbies have?

I think I'm up to 13 now, just need to buy a few fat wedges then I'll be good.

I started about 4-5 months ago... started with a Double Arrow... then got a lot of vintage blades... most of them I gave away. I think I have around 8. I only use 2... a Wapi and a Dovo Favorit... not into collecting at all!

Back in the day, I had something called "newbie rad" - I bought everything that was $30-$45. This was back in the days of the old B/S/T, which was much smaller than the current classifieds. But, back then, I also sold blades back rather frequently. For my first year, I limited myself to 7, but early on I probably only had 4 at once.

well im up to 4 currently, but the time is still young, santa hasnt arrived yet, but i dont count on the fat man to bring me squat. havent looked around lately, so im in a holding pattern.

I'm a three week newbie, and I bought four razors off Ebay for the fun of trying to find an inexpencive quality razor. All of them needed to be honed. I had some pretty bad razor burn for the first week.

I'll say 4, but one of them is being restored by myself (no idea when that will be done) and a Boker is in the mail. Can't wait to have that one in my hands.

1 Frederick Reynolds(will be shave ready later this week)

i got 16 at the moment but when i started a few months ago i just had about 10
