I just screwed a wall hook about waist high in the wall next to my shaving stands and she's right there ready for when I need here.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

The shoulder height towel rack by the vanity sink outside the master bathroom. As close to a shave cave that I am likely to get.

Interesting that some hang above waist level... I never really thought of that as an option as the model I had in my head was a strop on a barber's chair. Gonna have to change my anchor to a higher point and try it out.

I have been stropping for less than a month, so I am new to this. I tightly rigged up some old boot lace to hang my strop chest-high from my closet organizer, which has adjustment holes on the sides. I created 4 loops so that I can adjust the height of the hanging strop, just in case. It's been working like a charm.

I have my strop hanging in my office about elbow length up for ergonomic reasons. This way I can strop it at night whenever I feel like relaxing and messing with my razors. I keep my razor in my bedroom so as not to collect any moisture in the bathroom although out here in Arizona humidity is not a problem.

I hook one of those crappy little key-chain carabiners through the D-ring on the strop and the eyelet bolt. It isn't super pretty, but it is really functional in a very, very small apartment.

If this doesn't follow I can post a photo, but I'll have to find my camera.

I have an eye hook screwed onto the backside of the bathroom door at belly button level and both my strop and linen strop are clipped onto the eye hook with clasps that come with the strops.Every one is well trained here....when the door is shut.. Knock First.

I just recently moved on from my beginner strop to something nicer and bigger. I was trying to find a place to locate it other than the garage (where my el cheapo strop was located ) without wanting to put hooks up cause we are planing on renting this house out.

after a bit of thought I opted for rigging up some cord to the hanging rail in our walk in robe and using that. just next to the bathroom so it is nice and close and works a treat.

I placed an eye screw above waist height in the center support for a closet clothes rod. It's in a spare bedroom right next to my bathroom. I placed a carabiner thru it so I have three strops hanging from it. Easy to move the one I want to use to the front of the queue. And the perfect height for the slight up angle I prefer for stropping. I like the solid support of the eye screw so I can pull the strop as taut as I like.
