I have my strop attached to a rope that is tied around the leg of a counter stool. I sit down at my computer desk and strop.

Thanked: 0Thanks guys! I just tried my second attempt at shaving today and asked myself the question: How do I fasten this strop to the wall/sink/?? Glad to know I'm not the only one asking this question. I was watching Lynn's video and he has his affixed under the edge of the sink but you never get to see quite how he does it.

Lynn said in another video that he used cup hooks. I have mine secured to the food board of my bunk with the shackle portion of a padlock hasp, the strops clip hooks right to the shackle.

Thanked: 1587I don't hang my strop. After a while at this you come to realise that it is not the strop that hangs, but rather it is reality that rotates around the strop. I don't even know if my strop exists right now, but it will pop into existence when I require it. At that moment it usually manifests itself upon the door knob of the bathroom door.

Thanked: 41Re: Where/How Do You Hang Your Strop?
I keep mine in the closet and bring them out to strop. I'd love to leave them out, but afraid my kitty would "strop" her claws on them!

Thanked: 6I got a small carabiner and attached it to it. It hangs in my closet when not in use and it can be clipped to the towel rail when stropping (or hooked onto the door handle).
