Thread: New here with minor ding

Hello all - I've been lurking this forum and finally went ahead and purchased a black Dovo Best Quality razor with soap and brush from SRD. So far I've managed to survive three shaves, none as close as I can get with a regular cartridge razor but no bloodshed either. I was stropping the razor for tomorrow morning when I accidentally nicked the blade onto my thumbnail. Oh well -thankfully not my actual thumb. Now it has a small nick in the middle of the blade and stropping it out didn't help either. I was just wondering if anyone can tell does this need to be rehoned? I know there is a similar thread out there but I don't think this one is nicked as bad. I guess the only way to find out might be to just shave with it tomorrow and see how it goes. I'd appreciate any advice - thanks!
