You can ask the vendor for a shipping estimate based on your location.

I bought the sight unseen, I was very pleased service was great and Larry is a good person to deal with and if there is any problem he will make it right.

I would rather buy something I can know more information about such as hollow, size, material and make. I did message him to request a certain kind and he did inform me that he currently doesn't have any of the kind I requested. He seems like a good dude and customer service is definitely A+

I was like you, but I didn't want to buy a brand new razor ($$$) and get stuck with something I couldn't learn to love.

It was a wonderful "dip your toes in first" step for me.
Now, I buy a new one every Christmas.

    Shaving Experience: 1year 1month
Purchases from Larry: 1/4 Norton Hones, poor mans strop, sight unseen razor (good one, was a top flite) & some green/red dust.

I now have five razors after the initial purchase from Larry. Time to deliver to Australia NSW was about two weeks, when I gave feedback he was responsive and said if I was disappointed by the product to return it. I had to explain that that I was not criticizing his product and felt a bit ashamed of my Emails to him. He was very helpful and I have read a lot of us have kept our first razor from Larry. I replaced the scales on mine and have done it up a bit but all it required was a polish with some 8K wet and dry and then finish hone might take a bit off the stabelizer later.

Recommendations if you do not want to get a strop:

Sight unseen - either will do (do not strop for first use)
Green and Red dust to be made into honing paste

You can use the pastes on a folded bit of newspaper to keep the edge sharp until you decide you want to buy a strop. They go a long way and you do not need much at all so just the size of a pinch of salt. Mix in a bit of water, a drop at a time until you get something you can brush on (ONLY A PINCH).

The prices are so reasonable though I would get the poor mans strop, the razor will have a good edge and you can decide from there.

The one in the blue second from left is the whipped dog:

Im preparing to buy 30mm silvertip brush from him soon! Friend had it and it was extremly soft, you couldnt feel it on your skin but now I am having second thoughts!

Im wondering why does it say that recomended depth of hole in the handle for the silvertip is 20mm and not 10? If some1 could provide the answer id be gratefull!
    Have a nice day!

The badger hair is very soft but also very floppy. By setting it deeper in the handle you make it easier to use when making a lather from a soap. It keeps the hairs standing up, giving your brush a little more backbone.
