I ordered it from Oskar on this site. I paid 30 bucks for shipping I thought it would be here a while back.

Thanked: 11Sorry, Matt, I hope you will have it soon. Injustice is spread unevenly, it seems. Taz's parcel was posted the same day.

Hot water tap
Would it be a problem if I fillled the scuttle with hot water from a hot water tap? I have an instant hot water tap that is hot enough to brew tea, but not boiling.

Thanked: 11Hot enough to brew tea with is definitely too hot for the first filling.
Better pre-warm the scuttle with less hot water that would not burn your hand if held under it (50 to 60 °C).
Let the scuttle store the heat for a couple of minutes, then empty and refill it with hotter water, not boiling, though.
How does it work otherwise?
Greetings

It has been keeping my lather warm no doubt. I was just thinking though, the water from the insta hot is like 180F. Probably too hot to use at all. I just thought maybe I could get it a little hotter. I am still working on my lathering technique apparently because I cant seem to make a nice fluffy lather like the videos in youtube. So far though this scuttle is the best purchase in my shaving accessories.

Got my scuttle from oskar and am wondering how I survived with out it all these years
Matt, try putting a whole scutle size cake in the bottom and then lathering. Get a really smooth creamy lather in a few twirls of the brush.
Great scuttle oskar and I get a work out too carrying it
