Thanked: 0Lurker
I've lurked for over a month and just wanted to say THANKS. Y'all seem great for any question a newb might have, and I have learned a ton.
Just wanted to give a shout-out to whoever started the "Wall Mart Sugar Bowl" soap dish. Just got a few they are awesome.
Thanks for the "den" idea's mine is growing as we speak!

Be happy that you have a counter with a corner for you. As you can see in my picture, my bathroom (in a 1 bathroom house) has no counter at all.[/QUOTE]
I hear that! I moving to the sink in the basemant next to the washer and dryer. I figure a mirror, few shelves and a nice stereo should do it.Last edited by Str8Edge; 02-02-2011 at 03:56 PM. Reason: Still trying figure out how all this works

That's just phenomenal and credit to your legendary SRP reputation.
I made myself a tiny little shave station in the corner of my bathroom in honor of your shave den.
peace,
Stultsy

After shaves, EDT's, & soaps in wood bowls
Soaps & Creams, scuttles, styptic, glycerin, & brushes
Strop hook, Strops, & Razor case (stored in gun safe, but portable and very functional, I use a piece of foam rubber in between the 2 layers to keep them from hitting when the case closes). Electric Kettle in the corner for making nice hot lather.
The hones, stored beneath the sink in a cabinet.
Keep the great pics coming gentlemen!

As a result of a trip to IKEA I managed to pick up this furniture specifically for the bathroom which I have now claimed as being me own.
Only set me back $AU99 and is quite nice wood.
As you can see, there may be one or two items missing
But I now have a blank canvas to which to start from....
Just thought I would share!

I'm currently building my shave den/cave (it's in the basement). I'll post pictures of where I'm at tomorrow.
