    Actually, the weight is very similar to the wooden one. I might just try to clean them and use as they are.

    This thread inspired me to find a wooden handled brush to refinish. Then I find one that is NOS....

    The search continues....

    That almost looks like a powder brush not a shave brush.

    Here's mine refurbished and knotted HMW - 20mm x 50mm. Nice little brush.

    Hmmm after posting I see there is a difference.

    If it is that would be interesting.

    I looked up Rubberset powder brushes and nothing came up other than pictures of shave brushes.

    Synthetic. Rubberset on the side no model number etc.

    19 mm knot with 54 mm loft

    Well then it might be a shaving brush, the loft looked much larger than 54. But I can noy go by the pic, thanks. Tc

    It worked as a shaving brush.

    Definitively doesn't hold as much foamy lather as my badger and had to reload each pass but the thicker lather arguably had better glide on the razor. We will continue to play with it.
