Originally had one in plexi, but dust kept getting in so now I just blow it out with compressed air between runs. May build a new, with built in tool change height reference.
Taking the 4th axis off to try a few ideas for bottom logo, so every time I switch from 3 to 4 axis I’ll have to rezero everything. Downside of building it so small, but the price goes up dramatically for everything as the size does.

Excellent work on that bog oak!
Also I agree, there's gotta be a different knot..

I'm in absolute awe of this so I have to throw my lot in and say, if you ever decide to sell some of those please sign me up! Really incredible work. It's really cool to compare how it looks in all the different woods and materials.

This project was kicked into a higher gear by a forum member reaching out for a few customs like the ones I made a few years back. With my new gadgets and a different perspective I’ve gotten to this point and am excited about how far I can take the whole replication and creative license aspect of brushes, repeatably, and ultimately scale designs.
Being cautious about site rules around trolling for business I can say that I will be posting some to the BST pages at forum friendly rates, as well as always being open to One off challenge projects for fellow members.
For me this hobby may become a post retirement business, but for now it’s just that, a hobby I really enjoy. And enjoy sharing the journey of discovery with like minded gents.
Thanks all for the feedback and the improvement suggestions as well.
The collective knowledge on this forum spans hundreds of years of information.
I love being one of the sharers of that database.
    Cheers.

On this first maple test handle it’s hard to see so I think I’ll try to fill in the mark with sumptin.

That dimple in the middle doesn’t help the matter.
Like I said, test handle, hehe.
