Versus the last numbskulls? Nothing is surprising when it comes to politics and the voting populous of the USA.

Are they innocent or do the facts favor they are not innocent? Have you seen any credible information that forms your "false flag" assertion? Not saying your wrong but interested in your source for this.

It was not an attack and actually an accident by rebels mishandling the weapons. 12 died at the scene of the accident and you know the rest. The rebels she spoke with claim the weapons came from Saudi Arabia. I have no way of verifying this info so of course I have doubts. About all the stories I hear I have doubts. Reason enough not to pull the trigger on anything.
Everyone should be doubtful and wary. There are many issues and agendas at play in any situation of this sort. Rarely is the simple answer the correct one or the simple response the best one.

Keep in mind in this day and age you don't need a sophisticated complex plan. Only a simple story, a hungry 24 hour "news" format needing constant speculative hyperbole based material and a viewership willing to be feed the resulting pablum as facts. "BINGO" you have effective propaganda. It's so easy anyone can do it.

The US Congress is currently on vacation, and does not return until Monday, September 9th, 2013. If I were a US Congressman, I would not return any earlier (nor do I want any of those who represent me at the Federal level, to do so).

I disagree with your supposition of Israeli involvement. As an American-Israeli (dual citizenship, 25 years in Israel, honorable service in both countries' military), it is clear to me that there is absolutely no benefit for Israel in doing so. We know this, and so does Assad (witness the total quiet on the Golan Heights "front", since the 1973 Yom Kippur War).

Obama seems to think his community-organizer activities give him some kind of "gangsta, street-thug cred". Yo, MTV.

My original source for the False Flag theory came some months back from an article in the 'Nexus'. There are dubious articles printed in the mag, scattered amongst decent and legitimate article. I was a bit dubious about this one as there were no signs that any problem like this was imminent at that time. I made comment about that at the time to a good mate of mine, but I also said it would be interesting to se what plays out and how long if at all it would happen.
Now it has played out and the moment I saw it on the news I went looking for the magazine with the article, only to find it had been thrown out with some other old magazines.
I don't know too much of the politics of the region but I also read somewhere Israel was the likely party due to having an ideal of getting rid of the separate Arab states or some such thing and having one nation...Again, I just don't know the politics and I am happy to concede the point that Israel is the main culprit.
What does stand firm is the question, "What does Assad stand to gain from this?" The answer is "Not a thing" so it hardly seems likely that it would be him. It seems more likely some other power wants to take his power and his country. Weather that power is in the form of 'Rebels'(which strangely enough was mentioned in the article in Nexus as part of the False Flag method) or Israel as I said earlier, with the US as their friend backing up the FF operation, I just don't know.
There are just too many doubts planted in my mind and not enough truthful facts appear to be emerging.

It is a terrible and shameful thing to have happened regardless of the reasons or the politics behind it.

MickR, You have every right to have doubts. Truth is a very difficult thing to find when it comes to world politics. I'm not sure many of us can relay on even the most notable sources. I'm not very familiar with Nexus. Have read a few articles but not many. I would however caution you on drinking the miracle mineral supplement they seem to espouse. It's voodoo science that could hurt you.

Yes there are some wild things in that Magazine. I've only read a few issues of it over the years, but sometimes their reputable sources, such as the one who wrote the 'False Flag' operation in Syria article, really are reputable . The article as I remember it was well written, had source information points and has seemingly come about word for word as it was written in the article sometime before the actual event. So unless the person who wrote it was a Seer/Witch Doctor/ ESP endowed or some such 'arcanery', I would say there was a bit of truth to the article.

Last is the same as the now. Different clowns same rubber nose and floppy shoes. Like I said earlier, we have a hybrid corporation running this country. The allusion that the people have some say by voting is a joke. Could be worse. We could have a king , or be a democracy. We still have an ace in the hole and a chance to surprise the world again.

Gee ... what ever will we do??
First start by getting private money out of the electoral process and eliminate access by any and all special interest groups directly or thorough lobbyists. Remember corporations and wealthy interest groups can only exert control through money. They can't actually stuff ballot boxes. They try to influence how it goes by paying for ads and other quasi informational spots (think swiftboat) designed to convince a lazy public that they have the right answer. Pressure your elected representatives to make this happen. If they don't then ignore the TV commercials and vote them out.
Now that you have more voter control eliminate the 2 party system. The constitution was written within no party system (completely independent). The advent of the party system sprang from the very first special interest group not liking the fact that they didn't win enough votes to pass laws they wanted but the majority didn't. The actual majority ruled (sounds like democracy in action). How horrible it must have been for the minority. All votes would now be up and down with no party line to worry about. Imagine your elected representative actually representing you. Wow.

There's so much more but I'll stop there. Let me know when you get this done. Then we can talk about real change.

Politicians don't work for the people. they work for themselves. Things will NEVER change until enough people decide enough is enough. Every day the waves erode our earning power and freedom like the sand. I guess when the beach is all gone we will scratch our heads and wonder what happened. Im 48 years old and I cant recognize the place anymore. Political agendas are based on getting people to fight with each other instead of us realizing we agree on 90 % of the issues and demand accountability. If the country goes belly up financially, so goes the entitlements, so goes the military, so goes education, etc etc etc. So everyone loses. I have to say at this point that I really don't care as too many have their head in the sand. And I personally believe most Americans don't have any balls. We CANT compete with the rest of the world and we are losing ground daily. Our greatest generation were the WW2 vets and they are dying at 1000 a day. Heroes and brave men who understand hard work and sacrifice. I don't think that caliper of man will make any resurgence. Im cynical? Yes. Hopeful? No. The reality is the sun is setting on this great land and its because we shot ourselves in the foot.

You do realize that the US is NOT a democracy right ??? The Constitution protects those "Special Interests" from Majority Rule, your simplistic thoughts of how to fix it all would actually not have a good outcome for Minorities of any kind in the US..

This is from a Constitutional Conservative who is pointing out to you that what you just proposed would roll back Civil Rights to pre 1862 standards !!! SMH..
