I finished fixing the water heater about 6pm (yes, the new one I got 2 months ago)
took a hot shower & we headed to McDonald's(yes, we eat there once a week),,, I'm biting down on a Bacon Clubhouse in the car with my son, we're talking about life,,, then there is a squealing of tires in the intersection,,,,,,,,we look over & a man abandons the black SUV in the intersection & bails out.
He starts running west bound, our way. As he goes by our car in the parking lot,, I see a 50+ overweight white guy, shorts & boat shoes, sweating like h*ll, run by our car,,,, for a minute there, I thought I was looking in a large mirror.
I took 2 more bites on the Clubhouse & decided I better call it it,,, made the call,,, took two more bites on the Clubhouse & he still hadn't covered 2 blocks. They caught him on block # 3,,,,,, that was my excitement for the night,,,,,
He had done a hit & run on a van full of people, no one apparently hurt, thank God.
