    Maynard wasn't stranded on the island. Gilligan was! With that said, unless I'm mistaken Maynard only had one set of clothes also.

    The Dubliners is more accessible...I have come across a few authors I have had difficulty with...Thomas Pynchon is one...I tried 2 of his novels and bottomed out fairly quickly.
