If you can screw up 2 strips of leather with button holes at the end you should be ashamed of calling yourself a leather worker

On a serious note let us know how they work out. Just don't make some lederhosen please. It would look ridiculous wearing them on a skateboard.

It's actually going to be five bits of leather, three scissor clips, one double loop harness square, two buckles and keepers, a handful of Chicago screws and a lick of leather dye. I'm thinking antique brown. This is one of those sets of braces that clip onto the belt loops on each side of the front button and the one in the middle at the back. It's all just rough and ready stuff to see if it works like it should.

That bloke trying to ride the skateboard isn't getting any bloody advice from them smart alec kids. He's placing his feet all wrong and positioning himself awkwardly. It's a wonder he hasn't broken his skull on the first attempt.

I would just make a belt out of a bit of 6mm square earth cable and tie a reef knot in it.

I would skun out a flat earth capybara and jack a cobra skin end on 'em.

sure it will, the reason for his hand in his coat was to hold those trousers up.

All too fancy for me there Ed. I would just use a bit of old rope or twine for a belt...No I wouldn't. I would just make a belt out of leather. Speaking of which. I need to make myself a new belt. The last one is pushing on a few years now.

As for the braces. I'm wearing 'em at the moment. But they still need a lick of colour and some finishing touches. Haven't had a great deal of time to waste on personal projects, but I did hope to have them totally completed today. Too many other things had to be done though, so no photo's just yet. Well I do have photo's, but only some work in progress shots.
