Thanks for the link.... I'll run it through google translate...

Edit: forgot to say that I'm glad to hear that laws are being enacted to curb the NSA's antics.

Great news,U.S Navy is deploying a Missle destroyer to the black sea.
This was of course a pre-planned excersize

Sorta maybe could be played that way, considering the Frigate that was on station during the Olympics ran aground and is heading in for repairs..
The 6-16 F-15's and F-16's with Tankers that moved into Lithuania however are clearly not a replacement and being deployed as a show of force. It makes me wonder what we don't see or hear of that moved into the area...

The number varies with the source...

You were however right with the first post of the thread, hoping we would not be involved but knowing that there was no way that we (the US) would steer clear.

Lets just hope this little exercise in brinksmanship, initiated by Putin, does not turn into a contact sport.

This type of "Brinksmanship" always reminds of this scene, and Fred Thompson's lines before it in the movie

Yea, I remember those times too Pixie. We had the air raid drills too at school and IIRC if you did not live a 10 minute walk from your school you had to stay at school and fry there. Left an impression on a 9 year old for sure.

Yea, that would be the worst case scenario in these cases.

What I actually found funny about the drills in school was to get under your desk and cover your head
What they should have taught us was to bend way over and kiss your sorry aZZ goodbye.
