Whoa! Pardon me for asking, but what on earth happened to Spain? Was it my imagination or did the passing and errant shots on goal by Spain just leave you

My oh my what a disappointing performance by England against Uruguay.
I've always loved premier league but there is something really wrong with how they perform nowadays on the national team.
Bring in new, young and hungry guys, the old guys like Gerrard quite simply doesn't cut it in internationals anymore.
If they ever did...Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

We better get our shit together as no European team has ever won the world cup in South America in six attempts so far.

My money is on ze Germans!
That's modern football at its finest the way I see it.
And not to forget Belgium and the Neterlands either.
They could surprice in this cup..
Never liked Italian football and their primadonna's much, but they do have a tendency to sway matches in their favour
That said, the south Americans are off to a fine start, and anybody wanting to steal the cup away from them better get their shit together, no doubt.Bjoernar

Birnando - the answer is simple - how many England qualified players are registered in the premiership? The answer is the lowest percentage of all the leading European nations. I don't understand why it is so, but it has become self fulfilling. Pay ordinary European players inflated wages and you starve the national team.
Simples as they say.

After the untergang of Spain it was a beutiful logic to witness the collapse of England. The sword of justice is blind, cruel but righteous
Wouldn't be too surprised if this becomes a sad day for another southern European team this evening.
What a way to spend our biggest celebration, nightless night tonight. Gentlemen (and ladies): fill your freezers with beer!
My sympathies (and money) are still on Netherlands, Belgium and France.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
