I sure wish Bill would go visit Bill in California. I know they really need it, like we.....did!

We were over 23" with the last floods, a few weeks ago. Have to be getting close to 30" and that's in the last 90 days. High ground is a blessing!!

Heeeere we go again! How is everyone doing?

Lucked-out during the night, not much sleep...... After last time, we tiled the sunken living room up the baseboards and I installed a drain so I could just let it run out as things passed instead of wet-vac'ing it.
The contingency plan was put into play. Rug and pad rolled-up, end tables and coffee tables all moved to higher ground along with TV and stand. Furniture up on some things I had found at Target a while back. Got close!

Just a bit of seepage. Dried-up fast. Water went down and went and checked on friends and my shop.

Lots are hit hard. Stay dry!

Was just thinking about you when I watched the news this morning, then your pics popped up. Hope it doesn't get any worse, looks like you had a close call!

Cripes, if that keeps up you will be growing webbed feet next. Hope it does not get any worse.

Well it seems like it is an annual event now. Good thing you did some pre planning the last time around. Nothing like being prepared. I am glad you and yours are safe.

    Thanks, Shaun.
Yeah, they were saying on the news it was a 500 year flood. Cannot convince me of that!
