Yeah! I look at Cali, see the fires, then the droughts, then the floods, then....the mudslides!
How's about 'Tornado Alley' and certainly the blizzards and storms off the east coast and Great Lakes.
Even Las Vegas had a big flood a while back.

Mother Nature can be a bitch!

Sad to hear that this is happening again this year.... I will gladly deal with the winter cold and all the snow that Mother nature can dish out... seems like nothing compare to your situation, hang in there my friend.

Thanks, Martin! I suppose it is all what we are used-to. Snow up to the rooftops and minus temps seems frightening to me!

You should check out the house prices. They are very affordable. Gas and groceries on the other hand...
Good thing we have the bounty of the ocean.

Looking at pictures of the island, I was just thinking of the trail-riding potential!
(Half the year, of course!) Then, bust out the snowmobile!

It rarely snows here except in the alpine country. The bush is way too thick for riding in in most places. When I was in my teens I had horses and rode the beaches all the time. Good memories!

Watch out Tom!...Looks like it's coming again today.

I often wonder if we live in a 100 or 500 year flood plain, why did our years have to be in both of those times?
