Just one more thought I had after reading the reply's here. The church I go to has a lot of elderly women and for some reason they want to hug everyone. the perfume they wear might not be so bad if they didn't wear so much of it. we also have a doctor who goes to our church. at the end of the services I have ask him if he had any thing I could take to help me and my allergies. to give you an idea of the ages of these lady's I think the youngest one is around 85 and the oldest is 94-5. blue hair and walking canes. and wife want let me run away.

A neighbor girl joined the Peace Corps and went to Gabon. Her first letter begged for deodorant to be sent post-haste. The local stores only carried perfume, no deodorant.
If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

I think I'm correct in saying that BO - just like hair washing, corrects itself if left unattended. It's only because we are used to regular washing and bathing that we notice the difference when we go a few days without. Certainly when I was growing up there was a lack of bathing facilities and hot water in the house but I don't recall any of the adults giving off obnoxious smells.
On the other hand, those unfortunate people who suffer from intense BO but try to disguise it with deodorant can be even worse than doing nothing.
I can't be the only one who grew up in a crowded household that lacked modern day plumbing - what are your recollections? My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

I also was born in a day and age and location where plumbing was not in every home. we drew water from a well. In those days we were share croppers. most of you don't know what i'm talking about but some do. We were poor but clean. In the summer we would put water in a tube I think it was a no. 2 tube and at the end of the day we took a bath. about 2-3 inches of water for each of us. in the winter the same thing only the water was not as warm. So there's really no reason or excuse for some one to stink. anyone who works in a hot environment should sweat and depending on the job get dirty. it's how long you stay in that condition that says a lot about you. just my opinion and we all know that an opinion is just like but holes everyone has one.

Thanked: 2027I grew up in a house with 6 aunts, six uncles, grandparents and a ton of kids,we had one bathroom.
Bath night was every saturday,Me old russian grandma would put 4 of us in the tub than scrub us down with huge bars of brown homemade lye soap.
We had a woodfired banya in the backyard, the adults would go steam themselves than rinse off with a hose.
Grandma would wash our clothes on the back pourch with a hand cranked wringer than dry all in the sun.
Never any issues with BO or bad smells.CAUTION

Hope I haven't offended anyone. all this started as a tip to those who travel in closed in places. those little sample colognes that SRD and others have would come in handy and the air port officials could look at it and smell it and know it wasn't dangerous.it also could be carried in your shirt pocket. a dab under the nose would help in a lot of cases. I guess some times I should keep my thoughts to myself.
