    Everyone loves juicy fruit.
That is also one of my favorite movies. I think they used my mother as a character reference for it.
Not Nurse 'RezDog'? Tell me it ain't so!

By the way that movie was filmed about 60 miles from where I live at the Oregon State Mental Hospital. The 'Dr' that's interviewing McMurphy at the start of the movie was the actual head Dr at the institute.

Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Well Roy my mother was a psych nurse and did work a a large mental institution when I was growing up. Salem and Lincoln City Oregon I believe is where they filmed the movie. Great salt water taffy there. I was there once in the early 80's.

Well I know absolutely nothing about leather work. However in woodworking it is all about the layout and getting your reference marks and measurements straight. Perhaps what you need is some simple layout tools for laying down the lines where you are going to put the stitching. A basic geometry set could be a giant help, I use one often, on a larger scale but the tools are pretty much the same.

My father told me that the difference between a Journeyman and an Apprentice is that the Journeyman knows how to cover up his mistakes.

I have the hardest time making straight lines , as you can see in the middle stiching & the back straps are a little off centered,,, the story of my life.

    Thanks for looking.
