Another crafty activity I've had fun with is PVC sculpture.
In all of the following pics I did the sculpture and my wife the painting.
Pelicans:
Cobra, originally intended as a geocache:
Didgeridoo, I've made several of these and this is my personal didge.
I once donated two to a charity auction and the combined total they went for was 180 USD.
I was floored by that, but very happy to have contributed to a good cause.

My next PVC project I'll do, with my youngest son, will be a recurve horsebow.

Yes, you can see the edges of the tube at the bottom of the front view.
