Both (sort of), the books are to bring the laptop up to height, but as they are loose can be swapped as i read others.

The outer box does have another box inside it, sranding on end which i store cleaning products in for if the camp cleaners annoy me too much and i do my own room

Nah it is still fixed to the chopper forks. It lives in the shed.
