Nice berries.
We hit the pick and pay blueberry and blackberry farms this summer. Also, I found out the mushrooms that grow in the back yard are chanterelles, so we are out some on a pizza this summer.

Thanked: 227Thanks.
They are quite common here. But surprisingly expensive. Like more than buying the fruit.....
Thankfulky the outdoor access code here allows foraging if not for profit. And there are few people around here who take advantage of it, and a tonne of brambles, [emoji23] so we take our fill.
My next plan is to get 2kilo of elderberries and make me some wine. There were plenty where we went for brambles today but we only had one little bucket.
Would love to shroom hunt. But not confident enough I wont poison myself..

I had a couple of experienced chanterelle eaters confirm the species before we picked them. I'm only confident picking Morels.

Morels. Puffballs, and Dryads Saddle are the ones I know and feel confidant about.

Thanked: 101Picked some puffballs out of the yard the other day with the boys. Fried one up and ate it. Tasty!

Just remember guys, if a Puffball isn't solid, meaning the center is void, do not eat it!!!
