I was stuck posting with a cell phone for almost two months Lots of misplaced commas instead of ''s. Yes it would be nice to be able to communicate in somewhat of a more nearly correct mode..

My wife use to tell me to quit using !!!! so damn much and I've finally figured it out that they are not needed as much as I thought. Sometime the words can make the point for you.
Thank you for sharing those words and I'll try to not wonder on and on. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
It is a fantastic book. I'm pretty sure that it was made into a movie as well. It is the story of a mentally handicapped person who receives a medical treatment in an attempt to make him smarter. I've not seen the movie but the book is wonderful.

    I found the movie--the whole thing…

My advice for this comment; Trade your Nike's in for a pair of boots , then kick the Sh*t outta the person who has their foot on your chest.

Finally stop making excuses for a crap load of individuals who have settled for less than what they can be.
Eh, I kinda see both sides. I mean sure, get up and apply til you get in. But the stark reality is sometimes that is damn near impossible. I spent 2 years in tech school for Auto repair. When I got out, I couldn't even so much as find a job in an oil pit. After 6 months applying for anything and everything I could on my own I finally had to give up and ask my grandfather to help me get a job at a family member's shop. I knew about said family member even though they were sort of distant, but I wanted to feel like I made it on my own without relying on family ties.

We live in a world where employers think 'Entry level' means 4 years of experience and a Journeyman's certificate in a trade. That's one of my pet peeves. I've been trying my hardest to get OUT of automotive repair after breaking my back to get IN. Even with a background in small and high voltage DC electronics (up to 240 volt), gas and diesel engine repair, hybrid systems, bending exhaust pipe and MIG welding it seems like getting into the Ship or Train yards is just out of reach. I can't even seem to claw my way into a heavy diesel repair facility, and I've heard many complaints that the current generation are all upward of 50 and soon to be retiring. But the people hiring for these positions seem to refuse to lower the bar enough that younger folk can get in and start learning the trade(s).

I haven't given up. I'm still trying to either claw my way up the Dealership ladder or get out of the field and into something else. But damn if it isn't soul crushing.

When you have to resort to sarcasm in an argument you can be pretty well assured you have nothing left to offer. So I'll just leave it at this... I'm not going to engage in an argument with someone that doesn't see the irony in posting their pet peeve as "wining" or whining on a thread explicitly dedicated to listing pet peeves... Beginning to see that it isn't a lack of, or an abundance of perception you have compared to me that's leading to our disagreement. Instead, it's that one thing you can't fix, as my father would say.
The exchange between you and I is a real simple one; you tossed crap on the table and I called you on it.

At 47yrs old, we must be from a different generation. 'Cause my generation, or at least from where I come from, we usually hunt them down, stalk them, capture and torture (psychologically or physically, depending on the mind set of the victim...echem, for at least 1 week, before we leave them stranded in the woods, naked-cold and hungry.

    But I digress....

Yeah, but I can't stalk very far though, cause my legs are short & I'm overweight.
