I agree with what TC said 100%. Can it happen, yes. But... i dont want to tell people that dont have a clue what the odds of it happening. Id rather they know its possible.
It's just Sharpening, right?

It's really amusing more than it is annoying when at the grocery store I came upon an aisle I wanted to go on but there was a pole & I could have gotten by if the woman standing there who was looking through the corner of her eye at me while looking back at something she picked up, was reading the label thinking I didn't notice her looking through the corner of her eye. I just left the basket where it was, walked past her & grabbed what I needed & when I got back to my basket, I laughed letting her know what an inconsiderate b*tch she was.
Some think they are better than others & can intentionally make others wait on them but I didn't. It was actually easier for me to walk & get what I needed & go about my business but she thought she was creating a problem for me yet she was only showing her ignorance.

Speaking of grocery store - it really bothers me when people peel open the fresh corn-on-the-cob a little then put it back. I see them doing it all the time like it's normal. It's not normal! Would these same people peel open an orange a little then put it back? How about a banana?
Today just about every corn in there had been peeled open a bit."Go easy"

I was at the same store the other day & I love those Nutter Butter cookies & so does my dog but the last two times they have been out of the ones I like, the individually packaged ones of 4 per pack. I saw one box the other day & I grabbed it but it had been opened in the back & about 3 packets were missing from it. Some people..................

Aloha!
Speaking of food...
I'm not a fan of social media in any form. I just don't care for it. But I have to do Facebook and Twitter and Linked-In to promote my company as a business owner. Otherwise, you'd never catch me on social media.
Many of my contacts, and I mean the vast majority, love to post pictures of what they are eating at the moment. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and anything inbetween. It's just post after post of, HEY! Here's my breakfast! Here's my mid-morning snack! Here's my lunch! Here's my mid-afternoon snack! Here's my dinner! Here's my desert! Here's me eating my desert! Here's me after eating my desert!
Here's me eating some leftovers before bed! Day after day. Yikes.
Don't get me wrong, I love food and don't mind hearing that someone had a great steak dinner, but posting your food all week long? I honestly don't get it. Even Anthony Bourdain would get tired of all the food photos after a while.

Thanked: 481Well, it only takes one encounter with Darwin's law for that kind of problem to self-rectify.
Grocery shopping (or being in any large store) bugs me to no end. Folks stopping to stare at the things on the shelf as if they're going to find the secret meaning of life there in the cereal aisle. You get fruit loops every week, grab the box and GO. Folks walking at a snails pace - particularly ones younger than me (I don't get impatient with elderly folk, they've earned the right to be pokey). People blocking aisles to piddle with their phones.
I've gotten to the point now I only go to 24 hour stores around midnight when they're about dead unless there's no way to avoid going earlier.

Aloha!
I was driving behind a woman today (she looked perhaps 45 ish so not a youngster) and she was all over the road. I decided I had to put her behind me for my safety. As I passed her I saw she was playing with her phone. This was on a major beltway around a major city during a busy Saturday afternoon. Hokey smokes Bullwinkle, are you nuts lady? Goofing around with a smartphone while driving is really a national epidemic, and it has to be stopped. It's more than dangerous, it's downright suicidal - and you may take some poor unfortunate others with you.
I broke down on I-75 in Georgia once and had to get a tow. I drive a German Import and have the 200 mile tow package from AAA. The nearest dealer for my car was about 180 miles away, so I got a long ride in a tow truck. A very BIG tow truck, the kind that sets you up about 10 feet in the cab. After a while, I notice we're handily passing cars. Odd I think. How fast is this driver going? So I ask him, "How fast are you going?" He says, about 65. Really? And we're easily passing so many cars on a major highway in a 70 mph zone? So I start looking at the people in the cars we're passing and I notice they are ALL playing with their phones and not paying full attention to their driving. No wonder we're passing them so easily. The tow driver told me he sees this all day every day.
That really alarmed me. I am usually driving and don't get a chance to peer into cars I'm passing, especially from a high vantage poit. Makes me want to trade in the car for an armored vehicle.
