As an IT guy... Help-desk type work.
Ever try to walk someone through resolving an issue wherein they only occasionally deign to listen to the expert advice that they've asked for, preferring instead to waste time "trying something" and usually several dozen somethings on their own, rather than just following instructions to execute a simple procedure?
Every so often I get pulled into one of these calls and it just wears me out... Reminds me of exactly why I no longer do desktop work. I just don't have the patience I used to.
Aargh...

Thanked: 3795Anyone, and everyone, who follows a statement with "just say'n."
I know you just said it. I just heard or read it. You don't need to follow whatever you just said or wrote with that phrase. It's stupid, meaningless, and irritating.

Telemarketers that not only call but have a bad phone line!!
PS. Watch out for Disaster "Donation" collectors!!If you want to help, contact a group that actually is in a position to be of service. Such as the JC's or church groups.

Thanked: 458Watches with gigantic faces. I've got probably average wrists, not big, not tiny. I hate 45mm watches, etc.
What reminds me of that is that I got a simple seiko 5 automatic recently (used) to replace some more expensive big faced watches that I have. I put the watch on and thought "kind of looks like a ladies watch these days", but like wearing it so much more that I don't care.
I haven't felt the face/case of the watch dig into my hands or wrist/arm once yet today.
