V for Vendetta is such a good movie. It goes along with almost all the quotes from one of my favorite people, Thomas Jefferson.

    from The Road Warrior

Toady: Greetings from The Humungus! The Lord Humungus! The Warrior of the Wasteland! The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla!

    from Mad Max

[the Kid is handcuffed to a car that's about to explode]
Max: The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel. It'd take you ten minutes to hack through it with this. Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go.
[the hacksaw is dropped next to The Kid, and Max limps off]

    Default Bladerunner

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."

    * The last words spoken by Roy Batty in Blade Runner on the rooftop, just before he died.

** These words were actually written by Rutger Hauer, the actor who portrayed Roy Batty, just before the scene was shot.

Although "Thief" is one of my favorite movies, I haven't seen it in years and years. There is a scene in which Frank (James Caan) goes to visit Okla (Willie Nelson), his mentor, who is in prison. Frank is asking Okla whether to begin working for Leo (Robert Prosky). And whether he should trust him. Okla gives advice I have valued throughout my life.

    "Trust no one".

Hard to say what is most favorite movie quote, but this one from "One Night at McCool's" made me spit out my popcorn.

    Randy: You like water?
Jewel: I love it, it's my second most favorite thing in the world.
Randy: Really? And what's your first most?
    Jewel: F*#$@ing.

I can't pick a favorite quote, but since it was on TV last night....

"Now go home and get ya f%@$*n' shine box!"

    Schindler's List

Itzhak Stern: Let me understand. They put up all the money. I do all the work. What, if you don't mind my asking, would you do?
Oskar Schindler: I'd make sure it's known the company's in business. I'd see that it had a certain panache. That's what I'm good at. Not the work, not the work... the presentation.

Reminds me of me...he wound up broke though, so maybe I should work on that
