    Default Favorite movie quotes

Noticed the wapencia thread was digressing into movie quotes so I thought I'd start up this thread.

My favorite movie quote is one I use everytime some Gypsy, repairman or salesman, etc asks me to trust him.

It is From Nick Cage in Con Air:

"Two people I trust; One is me, the other is not you"

Laura Lee: Kansas was all golden and smelled like sunshine.
Josey Wales: Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas, sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

"In 1930, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, in an effort to alleviate the effects of the... Anyone? Anyone?... the Great Depression, passed the... Anyone? Anyone? The tariff bill? The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? Which, anyone? Raised or lowered?... raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects? It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says? It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics. "Voodoo" economics."

Who can give me the name of the "actor/political speach writer" that made this quote famous??? Anyone? Anyone??? Forum, anyone??? Ben Stein, who went on to host his own game show.

Outlaw Josey Wales is a classic. One of my favourite quotes:

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. You take away all he's got, and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess he had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

Spartan King Leonidas: Dilios, I trust that "scratch" hasn't made you useless.
Dilios: Hardly, my lord, it's just an eye. The gods saw fit to grace me with a spare.

Honestly, that whole movie is quotable...

    From Star Wars:

(Truly the master Yoda is totally quotable)

    From Pulp Fiction:
    "Fabienne: Who's motorcycle is this?
    Butch: It's a chopper, baby.
    Fabienne: Whose chopper is this?
    Butch: It's Zed's.
    Fabienne: Who's Zed?
Butch: Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead."

    From V for Vendetta:
"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people" ... and

    from Jeremiah Johnson

    Jeremiah Johnson
    : Y'ever get lonesome?
Bear Claw Chris Lapp: Fer what?
    Jeremiah Johnson: Woman?
Bear Claw Chris Lapp: Full time night woman? I never could find no tracks on a woman's heart. I packed me a squaw for ten year, Pilgrim. Cheyenne, she were, and the meanest bitch that ever balled for beads. I lodge-poled her at Deadwood Creek, and traded her for a Hawken gun. But don't get me wrong; I loves the womens, I surely do. But I swear, a woman's breast is the hardest rock that the Almighty ever made on this earth, and I can find no sign on it.
