The virus is kind of a big deal for me. So in my truck I keep a box of 5 mil nitrile gloves and a spray bottle of Lysol scrubbing bubbles with disinfectant.
I even spray down the gas pump handle, keypad, touch screen and gas select button every time. Unfortunately I do not have any masks.
Most of the people around me keep their distance ( maybe 4 people at most).
My life is pretty much the same except for restaurants and grocery stores.
Unfortunately I have had to ban my helper til June at the earliest. He lives in a house with 10 people. They are not careful and I am unwilling to take any risk.

Randy, if you do a search on EBay for protective masks, you'll find a boatload of them.

While not ideal, a bandana draped over your nose and mouth and tied behind your head is way better than nothing.

Don't take any chances...We need ya in Texas!!

Just talking with Damon Blades on Skype. Going to dig out my sewing machine and make some masks from old bed sheets and HEPA filters. Youtube has a bunch of video's and Damon knows a thing or two about sewing. His father used to be a tailor.

Randy, I remember reading a research document recently comparing the effectiveness of different materials as barriers from pathogens. After N95 masks, the next best material was a vacuum bag. If you've got any of those, you can cut them up and have yourself a greatly effective mask.

Remember that to get good filtration from homemade masks they can be very hard to breath through.

You will have to make a compromise.
