Selfie taken right out of the shower after I'd landed home at the Boars Nest on the last leg of a 5500 mile ride on my '97 Harley.

My oldest daughter owns and operates her own Hair Salon and for years I'd tell her that if I ever got to a point in my life that I didn't have to work for anyone else I'd never get another hair cut.

She would look at me with these sad puppy dog eyes and say; "Great dad, just great".

Well every once in awhile she'll call and tell me to be at the shop to trim the split ends and clean up my neck so 'Technically' I do get my hair cut.

By the way the 'Stinking' thing comes from a movie and I believe it was Sierra Nevada and Weird Al did a parody of the scene BUT he wasn't alone here's the original and some parody's:

With a flat top everyone can see it.

I used to be a longhair. I mean like Cousin It long hair. I don't have any pictures of when it was really long but it was halfway down my back at one time and covered my nipples in the front. This is from my major surfing days.

Puka shells and everything. It was kind of nice for surfing because it kept the sun off my neck and my shoulders while I was in the water but other than that it was a big pain in the ass. I like my flat top. I cut it myself, it takes me 15 minutes start to finish. It is neat, cool, easy to take care of and low maintenance. As I think about it, I'll have to put in my will that when I die I want them to give me a fresh flat top before my funeral.

Does anyone else get a mental picture of what guys on here must look like based on their posts etc.

I do and i am always very wrong,

I had you pegged for tall, short hair with a shirt and tie kind of guy. It's lucky that everything else I do isn't so wrong

    Nice to meet ya.

If you haven't seen it the, "What Do You Look Like" thread is interesting. To me what was most interesting was how many people have beards. Seemed kind of paradoxical for a shaving site.
