    Default Haircuts

I haven't been able to go to the barbers for about 6 months probably.

Does anyone else cut their own hair?

I use my beard trimmer with the various length attachments, probably made a right pigs ear of the back but the front and sides don't look too bad.

There is a reason barbers and stylists charged extra for “correcting” self-styled haircuts during the last break in the lockdown in Ontario. Some of the do-it-yourself haircuts were pretty brutal.

Been thinking of just shaving it all off. I’m getting to the point where most seems to have fallen out on its own anyway.

I think that cutting your own hair is the basis for the mullet style cut. You can cut the front and sides good but not the back.

I remember from 1980 when a friend cut his own hair this way while we were broke and bored in college.

Haven't had a hair cut in a least a year now. At this point I have 3 options, ponytail, shave it all off and just stay with it. Not desperate enough to do the first two options myself yet. I've always worn my hair short so this has been an interesting experience.

Me neither. When it got to the pony tail stage, it just looked too stupid, so I got my wife
to do the job. She used a comb and scissors, and it doesn't look half bad, so I'll go with
that until our local barber shop re-opens. Soon, I hope!

My wife has cut my hair forever, I have been cutting her hair this year. I usually just keep trying to get it even until she gets frustrated and tells me to shave it all off.
When she gives me a haircut she always ask if I want the Moe or the Curly, then she says, "you get the Moe" Then she shave it all off.

Have had wahl hair trimmers for 30 odd years now and have collected various others.
No. 4 comb, can't go wrong.
When the boys and all their cousins were young and needed a trim out they came.
    Saved us a small fortune..

I do cut the back, I use decreasing length adapters from the crown downward until I get to #1 at the neckline. It looks pretty good and it lets me keep my hair short but the neckline isn't very straight according to my wife and i can't shave my neck myself so she does it for me with a laydshave.
