Oh yea lets beat that dead horse again. Woe on the Clintons. I think in the year 2300 you'll still be bringing them up.
You remind me of the guy arrested for bank robbery who says "well everyone steals something in their lives" It's the old equivalents thing.
If I started listing the things our Fearless leader has done and has been convicted of and should have been convicted of....well, if he hadn't won guess who would really be wearing the orange jumpsuit. The'd throw the key away on him.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

It appears that President Trump wants to negotiate the surrender of Ukraine personally with President Putin. That'll be interesting. Just how far will Trump go in ditching America's Allies to curry favor with Russia? Maybe he thinks Crimea will be a good place to build a beach resort and golf course if the Gaza development plan falls through.

The point is not to beat up on the Clintons. It's a reply to your claim about baseless accusations about election interference.
But, since we're on that topic: you don't want to allow that argument about the lawfare waged on Trump. At least there was actual evidence against Cankles. And since you put an "s" on Clinton, we all know there was evidence against slick willy. I don't think I need to mention where he deposited his "evidence." But, once again, it's the same old playbook. Those rules don't apply in our case because we're on the moral high ground. Those rules only apply to the "deplorables." The word "is" doesn't have the same meaning in your guilded dimension I guess.Last edited by PaulFLUS; 05-16-2025 at 09:03 AM.

Okay
The real question beyond politics, "Does this shed light on extra deaths because of politics, and does it breach the immunity clause" Did the left KILL people to win ???Last edited by gssixgun; 05-16-2025 at 04:13 PM.

Thanked: 3228In a lot of ways Rump is not saving democracy. NATO no longer views the US as a reliable member and are looking to and creating more defence projects where the US is not included.
Canada is currently looking at alternate fighters to the F35 from offshore sources. Canada is sourcing new radar for our north from Australia, building 2 new supply ships based on a German design, South Korea has been putting together a package to sell subs, mobile artillery and possibly new ASW patrol aircraft to Canada, Canada is building new destroyers based on a UK design for the new destroyers and Vard Marine to produce Vigilance class for maritime coastal defence in Canada. There are other procurement programs for the air force and army that look to non-US suppliers. All the talk of making Canada the 51st state and the tariff bs has underlined to distance Canada from US supply sources.
All Rump has succeeded in doing imho is create more global financial and political instability beyond what I have ever seen. Again, we will have to wait a few years to see what actually happens. About the only thing that could make it worse imho is the US disintegrating into another civil removing US as any kind of power in the world. Saving democracy, my butt.

Thanked: 133It’s frustrating how some on the far right ignore uncomfortable facts while pushing selective or distorted claims. You mentioned election fraud — and I never said fraud didn’t exist at all, but that there wasn’t enough to change the outcome, which is what every credible court case and audit has confirmed. That’s just reality.
It’s also ironic to criticize Democrats for being insulting, when Trump regularly goes on angry rants and personal attacks — not just on Twitter, but in speeches. If ‘facts don’t care about your feelings,’ that should apply across the board.
And regarding COVID, if you’re going to claim the left ‘killed people to win,’ it’s only fair to acknowledge that Trump himself spread a lot of misinformation — about masks, testing, fake cures, and more — often contradicting his own health experts. If we're going to demand accountability, it has to go both ways.
I agree with what Bob said. Trump didn’t save democracy — he weakened it. NATO and allies like Canada are moving away from U.S. defense systems because they no longer see America as reliable. Canada is now buying ships, subs, and aircraft from Europe and Asia instead.
That’s not just a diplomatic failure — it’s an economic one. Losing defense contracts means lost jobs, lost influence, and long-term hits to U.S. industry. Trump’s isolationism and hostility toward allies aren’t making America great — they’re pushing business and trust elsewhere.
