Thanked: 1936I was first amazed with the numbers, but then I thought about how diverse the world is. I was raised a Christian, but questioned it as I got older. I was always one who believed their was a higher power, but science (I minored in biology) had the hard facts that I could lay my hands on. I definately believed in Karma. About 5-6 years ago I came back to my Babtist roots & will be there till the end. I definately believe that a person should have a choice of their beliefs.
Great Poll!!!!!Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

Thanked: 172I chose Christianity, since there was not a choice for Follower of Jesus Christ. The reason i say this is there are many professing christians who do not believe some of His teachings. I will go no further in a public forum.

Thanked: 23I had always been agnostic up until about 3 years ago. I decided to start reading up on it and decided Christianity was the way to go!

Religion?????? OK
Well lets see,
I was born Baptist....Raised Methodist.......Married a Lutheran.......I believe in the oldest religion; peganism.........I guess that would make me Christianism (Christian-Pagan) or just confused
I believe in the Christian religion but have trouble with the entire bible, it was written by people and back then, like now, everything was embellished. I think the bible has a tendency to contradict itself, much like many other religions scriptures. And I think everything has a soul of sort, energy that we are made of and surrounds us.
I'll admit I am a religion mutt, but one thing does apply to every religion out there.......they all believe in the same basic thing. I have come to this decision based on my readings of different religions and observed practices. I also think people have added a lot too the religions that were not there before. Leave it to us to complicate something that was originally simple.

Albeit raised in a relatively reform house of Judaism, I've found myself leaning towards other nowadays. Not because i don't have faith in Judaism, or anything of that sort, but more because I've found that all i really want to believe is that people are capable of being good without someone telling them to be so.
