Funnily enough, the guy in the Torchwood ad posted above is the new Davros!
Thought it was quite funny in the Dr Who Confidential program after the latest episode when they were on the set and the good Doctor asked him what it was like under all the rubber face and a Wallace and Gromit like voice replied "Quite Comfortable..."
Showing my age, I actually watched the very first episode with William Hartnell when it went out the first time! Watched up until Sylvester McCoy when it got a bit silly. McGann was pretty good but it was far too Hollywood for Dr Who. Been good ever since it moved to Cardiff though (My home town too) Always amusing to see them run round a corner and appear several miles away.
These days though, I think I prefer Torchwood. Think Eve Myles has something to do with that. Never a great fan of cod face Piper! (Has she had her lips done? Looks more like a cod than ever in the last couple of episodes.)
Not wanting to give anything away to our American friends who probably haven't seen the latest episode but I think Tennant will be there a bit longer. I heard he's booked for next year's Christmas Special!

Ok, not going to do a spoiler but it is AARRRGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Well they have already filmed this years special, they still have 2 specials and another Christmas one left to film with Tennant. We have a friend who is an extra on the show so we occasionally get inside gossip. Here is a pic of him with Tennant from "Voyage of the Damned" Christmas 07.

Firstly, apologies to Mr Harner, but has anyone seen his
DALEK RAZOR
(Gotta love the new full size razor porn)
It's a damn shame some of you guys haven't yet seen the new Dr Who as it's awesome
Galopede you are a very lucky man to have seen the first ever adventure. It is really weird to see somewhere you know on there. My five year old nearly went into orbit on Saturday when the coffeeshop we go to three times a week was on screen briefly as the camera swung onto Billie Piper, apparently she's had a load of dental work done. Silver was quivering at Davros but 5yo said "I'll protect you!"
It will be a great shame when David Tennant leaves but I don't doubt the eleventh Doctor will be as enjoyable as the previous ten. My Doctor has to be Tom Baker. It was really funny to catch them again on tv. Those horrible monsters of my childhood were horribly awfully bad. Mind you. didn't stop 5yo running from the bubblewrap monster. Happy days

Have to say I've never been a fan of the Doctor, just never got into it I guess.
I loved Robin Hood untill this season where I think it has totally jumped the shark.
I try to catch all the Torchwood I can though, really good TV.

Thanked: 18My wife and I have watched both the new Dr. Who and Torchwood religiously, it's among our favorite two shows. I tried watching some of the older ones, but could never get into it. It's kinda like watching the original Star Trek. When they first came out, they were very good, but now, I just can't get over the hokey special effects and campy acting. Campy acting works much better when the rocks don't look like painted canvas.
