Thanked: 267Oh we could have voted for Al Gore! Great choice there!
Obama and his ilk are race bating punks. Obama has been caught on more lies that you could print on one type written page. This thread is a poor example of a political discussion. You fail to realize that most of the time you are voting for the lesser of two evils because politicians are pretty much of the same fiber. Far left liberals twist the truth just like the far right conseratives.
The money crunch in Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac were caused by Democrats Barney Frank and his gang. To say the Bush caused the financial situation that we are in now, is B.S. It was caused by liberals "social engineering" so that on one would be left behind and not own a $400K home. George Bush has been a disappointment to almost everyone, even the people that voted for him. He should have shoved new banking regulations that were proposed in 2004 down the throats of Congress.
One final word. I am grad to see that the Democrats are the "Disney" party, it is so comforting to know that they can be proud of registering "Mickey Mouse"!Hard core lefty response " they are just trying to disenfranchise voters, good move!
Later,
Richard

Thanked: 586Hey, not only is this sort of statement hateful nonsense, this thread is strictly designated to bash Sarah Palin. If you can't say anything negative about her, than please keep your snotty comments to yourself, or start your own thread. So there (again)!
Lee, regarding your off topic rants against abortion, I understand your concern about killing "innocent babies". However, as a man I don't understand why it should matter to you. I also don't think our government should get involved in the morality business. It is far too hypocritical an organization to entrust with choices regarding the bodies of individual adults. Your argument is that human life begins at conception. Others believe human life begins at birth. This is the essential argument.
I raised two girls for eleven years. The older one came home from school one day when she was thirteen years old and asked me what my stance was on abortion. I explained that I don't agree with either of the two standard choices. I explained that I don't believe human life begins until a child reaches eighteen years of age and parents should be allowed to drop their kids off at a clinic to be aborted any timee up to the kid's eighteenth birthday. My stepdaughter was not very happy with my answer.
Alot of people would like my mother to have aborted me. There are times I agree with them.

Thanked: 267So let me get this right. If you start a post that is based in a fictional premise, then no one has the right to post unless they agree with you? Once you post something you are open to many different levels of scrutiny and, all this is related. The election! Going back to my grade school math it is a "Subset" of a "Set". The subset is McCain-Palin under the "Set" which is The National Presidential Election.
So your comeback is based on feeling comfortable posting anything you wish and no matter what you say it should not be commented on! Oh that will work!
This election like all the rest that we have every had is a battle of ideas! So try to keep it civil junior.
Take Care,
Richard

Thanked: 586Sarah Palin is a liar and an idiot. That sir is fact, well documented and proven fact, not fiction. That is what we are discussing. I am not asking for your opinion unless it agrees with that fact. Hey look, it's not my rule. Take it up with JMS. I started this thread to bash Sarah Palin and id you don't agree with me, you may start your own thread.
Are you calling me "junior"? I don't know why you would see the need to start namecalling. That is certainly not civil.
