where do you find damascus razors?
And to answer the forum topic, as of now, my girlfriends thinks I'm "not weird". Whether that's a positive thing or not, I guess I'll figure it out eventually.

You can find razors of Damascus steel at ClassicShaving.com, or at Razors-and-stuff.com.
I personally am still finding-out the individual quirks of the dozen or so razors in my shaving rotation..... a Damascus might make those others jealous, and they might rebel and cut me!

My wife likes that I no longer come out of the bathroom complaining about the poor shaves I used to get with the commercial crap. She is concerned about cuts, but has only seen one. The nicks (when they happen) go away before I am even out of the bath.
She likes that fact that using the straight strikes fear in other men, but not her guy.
She will not even touch a razor, or my strops or brushes. The whole family now knows better.....lol!

there is a slight possibility that this opinion predates the whole straight razor thing.... :lol:
